Apple's Impressive Technology Breakthroughs Ever

With a variety of hardware products including the Macintosh line of computers, the iPod, the iPhone, the iPad, and etc, Apple Inc. has become the world’s leading multinational corporation in the fields of electronics, computer software, and personal computers. Despite not being the pioneer in the information and technology industry, Apple is always the enlightener in designing and marketing the most advanced hardware products such as multi-touch screen, graphic interface, trackpad. Let\’s have a review at the most impressive technology breakthroughs of Apple of all time as follows.

Here are the first Apple‘s computer mice released in 1983. Since then, Apple Mouse has been considered as among the first commercial mice available on the hi-tech market, best used all over the world. A mouse built with a scroll ball and 4 programmable buttons were introduced in 2005, then optical LED mouse was released, and the mouse using laser tracking is the latest Apple\’s edition.

Similar to the design of Apple mouse, Apple is not the pioneer in invention, but in publishing Graphic User Interface for Apple Lisa project in 1983. Xerox Corporation. A Graphic User Interface, first developed by Steve Jobs in 1979, gives graphical icons, and visual indicators, totally different from text-based interfaces, typed command labels or text navigation in order to completely demonstrate information to users.

On May 1994, Apple first launched the laptop series PowerBook 500 with trackpad seen as one of the world\’s technology breakthroughs at that time. The first Apple\’s trackpad, called Apple Magic trackpad is a kind of multi-touch trackpad designed to be compatible with Mac desktop computer. Magic Trackpad is connected to Mac desktop computer via Bluetooth wireless technology.

Before the first release of iPhone in 2007, the term “multitouch” had not been well known yet. At present, almost smartphones and tablets are equipped with multi-touch screen as a popular technology.

Accelerometer is a tool used to align the screen depending on the direction the device. The Apple’s technology has been applied on the iPhone, iPod Touch and the 4th & 5th generation iPod Nano with an LIS302DL accelerometer allowing the device to know when it is tilted on its side.

Nowadays, USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a computer tool connected to computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, Network Adapters, and external hard drives in order to transfer data and files.

Apple is the pioneer to release the first USB compatible with iMac in 1998.
